About this blog

Every guide is written in-house by our Cairo team, our local Egyptologists and trip planners who run the tours. Nothing here is outsourced or AI-generated, which is why you'll find opening times and prices that actually match reality.
Two to four new articles a month, plus a running pass over the older ones. Anything with prices, opening hours, or entry rules gets rechecked at least twice a year; Egypt changes these more often than in most countries.
Egypt is our home and the bulk of what we publish, but we also run tours to Jordan, Dubai and Morocco, so those get their own guides. Use the category filter above to narrow things down.
Short quotes with a link back are welcome. Please don't republish whole articles or reuse our photography without asking; almost every image on this blog was taken by our own guides and guests.
Please do tell us; message us on WhatsApp or use the contact form. Corrections from readers who were just there are the fastest way we catch a changed ticket price or a closed tomb.
