Rest and recharge because what awaits you tomorrow will be beyond comparison and truly heaven-sent.

Enjoy a slow breakfast at your hotel, imagining this strange event: the Solar Eclipse of 2027.
Soon, some vehicle will come to take you away to Karnak Temple, the ancient structure filled with the sounds of dead pharaohs.

Karnak Temple (Solar Eclipse Viewing)

Inside the Hypostyle halls alongside monumental pylons celebrating Amun-Ra, the sun god, one can encounter a visual display more magnificent than the sacred temple itself.
A twilight masterpiece of colors displays across the world when the moon casts its enchanting shadow over the sun beneath the skyline of the Pharaohs' city.
During daylight, stars become visible in the sky, and the moon produces a beautiful corona that encircles its silhouette.

For six minutes and twenty-three seconds, time feels suspended as you immerse yourself in this celestial ballet.
Let the silence touch you, so profound it creates a live cosmic connection that leaves its indelible stamp on your soul.
This experience, unique in a lifetime, will alter your wonder forever.

Luxor Temple

From the glimmering shadows of the eclipse, proceed towards Luxor Temple, being yet another marvel of architecture under the golden rays of the sun in Luxor.
Here, your Egyptologist guide will unfold for you the fascinating stories carved in hieroglyphs of the temple wall—pharaohs, gods, and the victories of ancient Egypt.

Lunch & Return to Luxor Hotel

Come back to your Luxor hotel after a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, which will be more than a memory—a very deep connection with the inner cosmos and also with the very cradle of civilization.
This celestial show beheld at Karnak Temple shall leave a very lasting impression on your mind: an endless testament to the timeless beauty of Egypt and the tremendous might of nature.

Hotel Breakfast

At a quiet breakfast in your hotel, titillate your palate in preparation for today's exceptional encounters.
Soon, a chariot unhurried by the desert breeze shall take you across the Nile to the western bank of Luxor, where secrets have faded into oblivion under the sands of time.

Valley of the Kings

Embark on a fantastic trip into the Valley of the Kings.
Here, the ancient pharaohs lie in lavish sepulchers, as richly embellished as any tomb could be with the brilliant and timeless art of the hieroglyphs.
Your Egyptologist guide will be a present-day interpreter of heavenly tales as she tells you of the lives of the dead kings sealed in the arms of the valley.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Next, ascend to the Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural miracle cut into the cliffs.
Feel the warmth of the desert sun as you stand where the "Queen Pharaoh" stood, a trailblazer of wisdom and grace.
Let your eyes wander over the almost endless horizons that once bore witness to her rule, now lost in the fading echoes of history.

Colossi of Memnon

So, when the sun attains its zenith, find comfort in the shadows of the Colossi of Memnon, silent sentinels of ancient Thebes.

Afterward, a treat in a restaurant where you will enjoy authentic Egyptian cuisine before your transfer to Luxor Airport to catch your flight to Cairo.

Arrival in Cairo & Hotel Transfer

On arrival in Cairo, an arrival transfer will welcome you and transport you across this vibrant city to your hotel, where you will spend the final night of your Luxor Eclipse 2027 tour, reflecting upon all the wonders seen and memories made against the ancient grandeur of Egypt.

Egyptian Museum

You can enjoy a lazy hotel breakfast before plunging into the dynamic life of Cairo. Then, move on to see the treasures at the Egyptian Museum. Get lost among these gilded mummies, their watchful eyes speaking of bygone eras, while golden artifacts whisper tales of dynasties long forgotten. Let your Egyptologist guide lead you through the labyrinth of hieroglyphs, unraveling the mysteries of Tutankhamun's tomb and the allure of Cleopatra.

Saladin Citadel

Move on to Saladin Citadel—the fortress cut into the sky—walls that tell tales of valor and treason. Place yourself at a spot from which ancient sultans ruled, and take in the whole Cairo view with its bustling ancient minarets and modern streets.

  • UV-Blocking Sunglasses: Protect your eyes from UV rays and reduce glare while sightseeing, especially when exploring outdoor sites like the Pyramids.
  • Hand Sanitizer: Hygiene is important, particularly when handwashing isn’t always accessible, so be sure to bring a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
  • Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key, particularly in the heat. A refillable water bottle will help you stay refreshed while reducing plastic waste.
  • Insect Repellent: Particularly useful when visiting sites surrounded by nature, insect repellent will keep pesky bugs at bay and protect you from bites.
  • Appropriate Clothing for the Season:
    • Winter: If traveling during the cooler months, pack a warm jacket, sweater, and thermal layers.
    • Summer: Lightweight, breathable cotton clothes are ideal for staying cool in the hot weather.
  • Wide-Brimmed Hat: A hat provides shade and helps protect your face and neck from direct sun exposure.
  • Travel Adapter: Different countries have varying plug types, so bring a universal travel adapter to keep your electronics charged.
  • Camera or Smartphone: Capture stunning memories from your trip with a camera or your phone. Egypt’s ancient sites are perfect for photos!
  • Compact Umbrella: Though Egypt is mostly dry, a small umbrella can be handy during the rare rain showers, especially if you're traveling during the transitional months.
  • Comfortable Shoes: You’ll likely be doing a lot of walking during your sightseeing, so pack sturdy and comfortable shoes suitable for exploring archaeological sites and urban areas.
