Trip Summary

Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Casablanca, our local driver guide will welcome you in front of gate 2 outside the airport.
You will drive up north to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, you will be taken to check in at your hotel where you will be spending the night.

Overnight in Rabat

After breakfast at your hotel, join your tour guide for a tour of the capital city of Morocco. Our guided tour in Rabat will revolve around uncovering the history of Rabat. The tour includes a visit to the Royal Palace, Chellah, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah Oudaya.

  • Royal Palace:

The Royal Palace is the official palace of the King of Morocco, known for its impressive gates and architecture.

  • Chellah: 

The historic medieval necropolis Chellah and archaeological site surrounded by beautiful gardens.

  • Hassan Tower:

The iconic Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of a 12th-century mosque, renowned for its striking red sandstone architecture and commanding presence, symbolizing Rabat’s rich history.

  • Kasbah Oudaya: 

A picturesque fortress, Kasbah Oudaya, with charming blue and white streets, serene Andalusian gardens, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, showcasing the timeless beauty of Rabat’s heritage.

Have some free time afterward to stroll around the souks and bazaars in the old medina of Rabat, which are full of all types of merchandise as well as leather made traditional and modern shoes alongside Moroccan style bags, with some authentic Berber style and old jewelry shops, making it a perfect experience for those on Morocco private tours.

Then, Continue to “Café Maure” on the bank of river Bouregreg, to enjoy a Moroccan mint tea (optional) alongside some Moroccan goodies like Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba. After the tour, you will be taking the road and saying goodbye to Rabat and Hello to Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, start your tour which includes a visit to Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid Plaza Uta el Hammam and a tour of this beautiful city. Chefchaouen is Morocco’s “Blue Pearl”. It has come to be known as such due to the distinctive blue color all the inhabitants use to paint their houses. This color covering the city gives it an amazing charm as well as a sense and an atmosphere of relaxation, comfort, and peace. Have you heard of healing pearls and gems? Well, this one really works.

End the day at Fez, the Capital of Science and Knowledge. Along the way, you will be making a stop by Volubilis and Meknes. The archeological site of Volubilis is listed by UNESCO as a worldwide heritage site. You will walk around the remains of the Roman and Berber cultures that once occupied it. Afterwards, the trip will continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, one of Morocco’s lesser visited. It was built by Moulay Ismail and was conceived to be the ‘Versailles of Morocco’.

Overnight in Fez

After breakfast, start your guided city tour of Fez, once the capital of the kingdom before 1912.
Your guide will lead you to the main attractions such as:

  • Bou-Inania Medersa:

Bou Inania Medersa is a 14th-century Islamic school in Fez, Morocco, renowned for its exquisite architecture and intricate tilework. Its grand courtyard, carved wood, and vibrant zellij mosaics showcase the pinnacle of Marinid craftsmanship, making Bou Inania Medersa a must visit historic landmark.

  • Attarin Medersa:

an ancient theological college with a lovely carved plaster and peaceful courtyard.

  • The Tanners:

classic leather workshops exhibiting very old leather-making methods.

  • Ess-Seffarine Square:

a bustling square renowned for the metalworkers and the creator activities.

  • Moulay Idriss Tomb:

 a distinguished shrine for the founder of Fez.

  • El-Nejjarine Square: 

a nice square around the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts.

  • Cabinet Makers’ Souk: 

a crowded market area for skilled woodworkers and customized furniture.

  • Hebrew District ‘Mellah’:

the ancient Jewish quarter featuring narrow streets and cultural spots.

In your schedule, you will have a pottery workshop with a pottery master so that you get to have a full Moroccan experience.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you are free to either choose to go back to your hotel or stroll in the narrow alley of the old town on your own. Fez is a rich city, therefore we encourage you to take the day to discover it.

Local Experience: Pottery Workshops

After breakfast, we will be heading towards Erfoud through Ifran and Midelt. Erfoud will be our gateway to the majestic Moroccan Sahara. It is well known among archeologists due to fossils dating back hundreds of years.

Upon arrival, you will head off for a lifetime adventurous drive in 4-wheel vehicles across the barren sand dunes. Enjoy the beautiful sunset along the way to the camp in Merzouga.

Local Experience: The Desert Camp

Wake up early and make the most of the day by walking on a camel's back to witness the sunrise over the dunes. Then, with the help of an English-speaking driver, today will be a travel day between Erfoud and Ouarzazate. Enjoy the gorgeous view of Todra Gorge while driving.

  • Todra Gorge: 

great narrow gorges southwest of Tinerhir, recognized for their cliffs and awesome natural beauty, suitable for taking pictures.

Eventually, after some mind blowing pictures, you will keep moving to Ouarzazate by car. But before you reach your destination, you will have time to visit Skoura, which is simply one of the most attractive oases in Morocco.

  • Skoura Oasis: 

it is a beautiful and large oasis, where lush palm trees and traditional kasbahs exist, giving a tranquil contrast to the surrounding desert scenery.


Overnight in Ouarzazate

After Breakfast, meet your driver guide in front of the hotel
Today you’ll have the chance to visit the

  • Atlas Studios:

one of the world’s largest film studios, located near Ouarzazate, Atlas studios famous for iconic movie sets and desert landscapes used in Hollywood and international films, like the Mummy, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelicx and of course Game of Thrones.
En route, enjoy the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and Ait Ben Haddou, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Once you arrive in Marrakech, enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace or relax at your hotel.

Today you will get the chance to wake up and live Marrakech, a dream of many, so be sure to make the best of it. After your breakfast, our local guide and driver guide will be waiting for you to start a guided city tour of the “Ochre City”.
The first place we will visit in the morning is the Majorelle Garden. It got its name from the French painter Jacques Majorelle, who devoted a lot of time and love to this masterpiece.

  • Majorelle Garden:

 a lively botanical garden in Marrakech, well known for its vibrant plants and peaceful ambiance.

Next will be Menara and although the Arabic name means “lighthouse” it is in fact just a pavilion with a water basin and a garden.

  • Menara:

 an ancient pavilion surrounded by vast gardens with marvelous views and peaceful environment.

We also will be visiting Koutoubia Mosque and will take a little walk around the Jewish area, called Mellah.

  • Koutoubia Mosque: 

The biggest mosque in Marrakech, Koutoubia Mosque which has an enormous reputation due to its distinctive minaret and importance in history.

  • Mallah (Jewish Quarter): 

an ancient area characterized by its narrow streets and diverse culture.

A local meal should be your lunch, and then you can end your tour with either a horse carriage ride or “Koutchi” to Jemaa El Fnaa.

  • Jemaa El Fnaa: 

the busy heart of Marrakech where you can find street entertainers, food vendors, and the bustling market atmosphere.

Have breakfast at your hotel before heading to Casablanca. Once in Casablanca, you will be joined by your local guide for a visit to 

  • Hassan II Mosque:

An architectural masterpiece, the Hassan II Mosque, magnificently overlooking the Atlantic coast of Casablanca, renowned for its intricate craftsmanship, towering minaret, and breathtaking oceanfront setting.


Continue afterward for a tour of the city and its corniche, the Habous quarters, and the Royal Palace (exterior visit).
