All You Need to Know Before You Go

Got Questions? Find answers to all your questions about traveling to Egypt. We have everything you need for smooth and remarkable tours in Egypt, from visas and safety advice to the ideal time to go and the must-see attractions.

Are there packages that include cultural or local experiences?

Yes, many packages will include authentic experiences such as cooking classes, Bedouin tea ceremonies, traditional dinners, and market visits so that travelers can explore life and culture.

Absolutely! There are many packages that combine both worthwhile destinations. Newspapers say both are just 1.5 to 2 hours apart, and definitely combining both will provide the traveler with a full experience of Jordanian ancient history and desert beauty.

The best seasons are from spring (March-May) to autumn (September-November) when the weather is good, making it perfect weather to explore Petra or hike in Dana Biosphere Reserve.

Pack comfortable shoes for walking at ancient sites; light layers to use in hot days and cool nights; modest clothes for use around religious places, or in rural areas. Then, don't forget your swimwear for the Dead Sea, or beaches of Aqaba.

Generally, Jordan vacation packages may include history-oriented guided tours, desert camping in Wadi Rum, Dead Sea spa stays, and cultural programs with the Bedouins. Other activities may include hiking or hot-air ballooning.

Indeed, Jordan rated one of the safest countries in the Middle East. The locals are helpful and respectful toward visitors, and it is in the common knowledge that Jordan stands for hospitality and stability.

You would be able to leisurely see all the highlights of Jordan in 7-10 well-scheduled days. This would include Northern Jordan with heritage sites like Jerash and Amman, and Southern Jordan with treasures such as Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea.

The major places of interest are Amman (the capital), Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, Jerash, Aqaba, and Madaba. The cities range from archaeological sites and subtle adventures in the Red Sea.

Jordan is a compelling combination of ancient history, deserts, and hospitable people. From the lost city of Petra to the Dead Sea floating waters and the chock-full vistas of Wadi Rum, it is a land of adventure, culture, and relaxation.
